The Metric Module supports the development and installation
of additional metrics. These metrics are bundled up as
normal NetBeans modules and are distributed and installed in
the same manner.

New Metric Wizard
To facilitate the creation of new metrics, a wizard can be
used to define the initial files needed for a metric. To
use it, select "New..." within NetBeans and choose "Metric".
The following form is displayed:
